Korinne Chiu
Korinne Chiu is a doctoral student in the Educational Research Methodology Department at UNCG. She received an M.A. degree from Wake Forest University in Experimental Psychology and a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. Her interests lie in program evaluation, public policy, and study design. She has research and evaluation experience at the community, state, and federal levels on projects related to education, psychology, human development, public health, and medicine. Upon graduation, she is interested in working as an evaluator in either the non-profit or government sector.

Lauren Fluegge
I am an ERM graduate student originally from Phoenix, AZ. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Catawba College and my M.S. in Educational Research Methodology from UNCG. My interests include evaluation, survey research, and measuring psychological assessments.

Xiao Luo
My name is Xiao Luo. I came to ERM department in 2009, being enrolled in Ms/PhD program. I received my B.S. degree from Beijing Normal University in China in Psychology in 2008, and Master's degree from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Educational Research Methodology in 2011. Now I'm working on my PhD. I'm primarily interested in developing and applying mesurement techniques to solve real-world problems. Some of my reserach interests include polytomous IRT models, assessment engineering, item generation and guessing.

Christine Meyer
After getting my BA in elementary education from Emory & Henry College and teaching in Alamance County for 3 years, I joined the ERM department in 2011. Although I am still trying to figure out my specific research interests, I think I would like to work for a school system or state department of education after graduation. I am very excited to begin my graduate career at UNCG!

Emma Sunnassee
I have a BA in Psychology with minors in Gerontology and Sociology. I also have a graduate certificate in Gerontology, which is thus far the field in which I have the most expertise.
I chose ERM because it allows me to use both a qualitative and quantitative approach. At the moment, I am very attracted to evaluation and test design.

Shureka Hargrove
I am from Warrenton, NC. I received a B.S. in Computer Science from Saint Augustineis College and a M.S. in Math from North Carolina Central University. I am interested in program evaluation and test assessment and design. I am a new ERM doctoral graduate student, joining in the Fall 2011. Being new to the area and at UNCG, I am very excited and thankful for this wonderful opportunity and I am enjoying my studies and experiences here with my fellow ERM students and faculty.

Robbie Furter
I am from Duluth, Georgia. I received my B.S. in psychology from the University of Georgia in 2008 with a minor in statistics. I began the MS/PhD program in ERM in 2009. I am interested in measurement issues and statistics, and my primary research interests are automated test assembly, survey instrumentation, psychological assessments, and assessment engineering.
