The Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences offers Sports Medicine/Athletic Training graduate programs of study through our Applied Neuromechanics Research Laboratory for students who are already BOC certified or are not looking to become BOC certified as a certified athletic trainer.
The department also offers a separate athletic training concentration (46 hours minimum) leading to the Master of Science degree. This Entry-level Master’s Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education and is designed to prepare students to become certified athletic trainers.
