Non-credit Professional Development Requirements
In addition to the 46 credit hours of coursework, students are required to gain
approximately two weeks of clinical experience during assigned pre-season athletic
practices during August of each year in the program. Students are also required to attend
weekly in-services and journal club sessions during each of the fall and spring semesters
in the program.

Accelerated MSAT Degree

The Department of Exercise & Sport Science offers an accelerated 3-2 program that allows a student to earn a BS in Exercise and Sport Science with a Sports Medicine concentration as well as an MSAT. Undergraduate students interested in pursuing this option must contact their undergraduate advisor at UNCG during their freshman year of study. The accelerated option is not available for transfer students.
