The MS Program in Exercise and Sport Science with a Specialization in Exercise Physiology is primarily intended for students who wish to gain an advanced knowledge base in the areas of clinical or research exercise physiology. Both Thesis (30 hours minimum) and Non-Thesis program (36 hours minimum) options are available to allow students to choose between a more clinical versus research focus in their studies. Opportunities for teaching, mentoring and clinical experience are also provided through Graduate Teaching Assistantships and/or internships.
