The American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education recently ranked Ph.D. programs in Exercise and Sport Science 24th in the nation, alongside programs at Purdue University, the University of Maryland, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin and Penn State University. The period of the evaluation spanned 2000-2004, and was based on information including faculty productivity (number of articles and books published) and visibility, as well as internal and external grant funding. Qualifications of graduate students also were considered, including average GRE scores and the employability of graduates.
Most of the contents of this current handbook are available on-line, by clicking on the appropriate topic. Several topics, however, were unavailable. Please consult a hard copy of the handbook for that information.
