Office for Adult Students (OAS)
OAS facilitates activities and services to enhance the on-campus experience of UNCG students age 24 and older. All adult students are encouraged to check the OAS website for events of special interest to this population and updates of campus announcements.
Campus Activties and Programs (CAP)
Campus Activties and Programs seeks to complement the academic program of studies and enhance the overall educational experience of students through development of, exposure to, and participation in social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, spiritual, and governance programs. In addition, the department is responsible for providing services and promoting programs that are responsive to student developmental needs and to the social, cultural, and continuing education needs of the campus community.
Career Services Center (CSC)
The CSC provides professional guidance and resources to undergraduate and graduate students and alumni for their lifelong career development. We design services to educate, counsel, and involve students and alumni in career planning and decision-making, experiential learning, continuing education, and/or employment search activities. To provide these services, we establish mutually beneficial relationships with our clients: students, alumni, employers, faculty, staff, and the community.
Disability Services (ODS)
Disability Services is committed to orchestrating the educational development of qualified students who have a physical or learning disability. Simultaneously, Disability Services continually works to improve understanding and support of the total University community toward this end. Students are encouraged to be independent and autonomous individuals who know their learning strengths and develop appropriate coping strategies for academic success. Disability Services serves as a supportive psychological environment so those students may achieve their educational objectives.
Leadership and Service-Learning (OLSL)
OLSL supports, develops, and catalyzes curricular, co-curricular, and experiential leadership and service-learning programs which advance the leadership potential and civic involvement of every willing UNCG student. The vision of the Office of Leadership and Service Learning is that every UNCG student will have the opportunity to realize his or her personal leadership style and capacity to affect positive change in society.
Multicultural Affairs (OMA)
Multicultural Affairs provides programs and services that support the academic mission of the University by enhancing the educational, personal, cultural, and social development of African American, Asian American, Latino American, and Native American students. The Office promotes culturally diverse activities that create an awareness and appreciation for racial and cultural diversity.
Orientation and Family Programs (ORI)
Orientation provides assistance to new students in their transition to the University by exposing them to our broad educational opportunities, and by integrating them into the life of the University. Orientation programs are made available to all students new to the University and to parent/family members of the new students. The office is committed to designing and offering orientation programs to serve both the student and the University by providing the bridge between the status of the prospective student and enrolled student.
