Find Us
UNCG is located just west of downtown Greensboro near the Greensboro Coliseum and is easily accessible from Business I-85 and I-40 on major thoroughfares within the city. The campus is a rectangle generally bounded by Market Street on the north, Spring Garden Street on the south, Tate Street on the east, and Aycock Street on the west. The map below shows the two office locations for Facilities Design and Construction. Click on each office location for written driving directions to each office.

Gray Home Management House
From the East (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill)
From I-40 West to Greensboro , take exit #41 bear right onto Lee Street (Highway 6), and drive approximately five miles. Turn right onto Aycock Street . Continue straight on Aycock Street to the East Market Street Exit to your right. If you want to be assured of a parking space - continue on East Market Street (stay in right lane) to the McIver Street stoplight. Turn right on McIver Street into campus and park in the McIver Parking Deck. Take a ticket. (There is a small nominal fee for hourly parking.) Walk through Peabody Park to the Gray Home Management House exiting the parking deck by the Music Building . Follow the path through Herring Garden across the steel pedestrian bridge. Go right on the service road to the Gray Home Management House.
From the West ( Winston-Salem )
From I-40 East, take the Patterson Street/Coliseum Area exit #216. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Holden Road . At the next stoplight, turn right onto Spring Garden Street . Travel approximately 3 miles to Aycock Street . Take a left onto Aycock Street and continue straight until the East Market Street Exit to your right. If you want to be assured of a parking space - continue on East Market Street (stay in the right lane) to the McIver Street stoplight. Turn right on McIver Street into campus and park in the McIver Parking Deck. Take a ticket. (There is a small nominal fee for hourly parking.) From the South (Charlotte)
From I-85 North, take exit #121 ( Greensboro , Business 85 North, 29 North, 70 East, to I-40 West). Travel approximately 2.3 miles to exit #35-B (Coliseum area, 220 North, to I-40 West). Follow for approximately 1.7 miles and turn let at the stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard . Follow for approximately 1.6 miles and turn right at third stoplight onto Spring Garden Street . Go .4 miles to Aycock Street . Take a left onto Aycock Street and continue straight until the East Market Street Exit to your right. If you want to be assured of a parking space - continue on East Market Street (stay in your right lane) to the McIver Street stoplight. Turn right on McIver Street into campus and park in the McIver Parking Deck. Take a ticket. (There is a small nominal fee for hourly parking.) From the Piedmont Triad International Airport
Exit the airport to Greensboro/Bryan Boulevard . Continue on the Joseph M. Bryan Boulevard for 8 miles until you come to a stoplight at Westover Terrace / Aycock Street . Take a right onto Aycock Street . Take the Friendly Avenue exit then bear left at the fork in the road. At the stoplight, turn left onto West Friendly Avenue . If you want to be assured of a parking space - continue on Friendly Avenue , when Friendly merges with Market Street , go immediately into the right lane. At the McIver Street stoplight, turn right on McIver Street into campus and park in the McIver Parking Deck. Take a ticket. (There is a small nominal fee for hourly parking.) Walk through Peabody Park to the Gray Home Management House exiting the parking deck by the Music Building . Follow the path through Herring Garden across the steel pedestrian bridge. Sink Building
From the East (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill)
From I-40 West to Greensboro , take Exit 41 bear right onto Lee Street (Highway 6), and drive approximately five miles. Turn right onto Aycock Street. Turn right onto Oakland Avenue. Continue on Oakland Avenue to Forest Street. Turn left and enter the Oakland Parking Deck to park your vehicle. Take a ticket. (There is a small nominal fee for hourly parking.) Cross Forest Street and turn right on the sidewalk, follow it to Oakland Avenue, turn left and follow to the Sink Building at the corner of Oakland Avenue and Highland Street. Enter the building on the east side. (Building signage will read “Facilities Operations”). Offices are located on the second floor in Sink Building. Take stairs to the second floor – receptionist desk.
From the West (Winston-Salem)
