Welcome to Facilities Design & Construction
This site is designed to keep you informed about the design and construction projects taking place on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The Facilities Design & Construction (FDC) Department hopes that this site is useful in communicating the activities that are changing the physical environment of our beautiful campus.
Our Mission
FDC manages capital improvement projects through the design & construction phases for the University. Our goals are to minimize financial risk and achieve the best possible results within the budget and time frame required for the benefit of the entire campus community.
The department builds consensus and educates faculty, staff, students, designers and contractors in order to achieve the highest quality product possible. We are helping to build and sustain the community, as committed in the educational mission of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
