University Studies 105: The Learning Community Experience Course
In order to bring everyone together in a common learning experience, every Grogan learning community has its own section of our 2 credit UNS 105: The Learning College Community Experience Course. In UNS 105, faculty, peer academic leaders, and LC students undertake a variety of activities, workshops, field trips and projects that aim to accomplish the following main objectives:
COMMUNITY BUILDING AMONG THE LC MEMBERS, MEETING INTERESTING PEOPLE AND FORMING MEANING FUL FRIENDSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS
DEVELOPING STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN EDUCATION & LIFE DECISIONS
CRITICAL REFLECTION ON THE VALUES, GOALS AND MISSION
