Ms. Daniel has worked in the area of older adult issues, specifically health insurance since the mid-1980’s. Her experiences working with governmental health programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare’s Prescription Drug Plans) and the many private insurances inherited or acquired by older adults has made her an authority on these issues as they relate to older adults. She is a commanding speaker often called upon to present seminars and programs to interested groups. Ms. Daniel currently teaches at UNC-G in the Gerontology Program. She also teaches for the North Carolina Department of Insurance Agent Services Division, preparing agents and financial planners to work with older adults struggling with health and long term care insurance questions. Ms. Daniel is also President of Medical Insurance Claims Service (MICS) which assists individuals with medical insurance claim services. In her spare time Ms. Daniel works at the other end of the age spectrum teaching young people the necessary social skills to succeed in today’s competitive culture. She serves as Regional Chairman of the National Debutante Cotillion and Co-Founder of the International Junior Assembly. www.Internationaljuniorassembly.com. |
