Master of Science in Gerontology Non-Profit Management Track

The Gerontology Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro,
in cooperation of the Department of Political Science,
offers a special program geared to meet a growing need, a
Non-Profit Management track in the Master of Science in Gerontology.

This program prepares people to be leaders in both the non-profit sector and in aging services.
Increasingly, professional jobs in gerontology have a management component and this program
prepares its students to excel in both areas. The program combines knowledge of the social, psychological,
and bio-physiological processes of aging and the social, political and economic forces that influence America’s elderly,
with development of specific management competencies needed in the non-profit sector.
