- UNCG Gerontology Research Network presents two free workshops in March 27 & 28, 2012 with guest speaker Judith A. Spross.
- Dr. Laurie Kennedy-Malone (Nursing) has been named a fellow by the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). GSA fellowship, the highest class of membership, was awarded to Kennedy-Malone for her “outstanding and continuing work” in the field of gerontology.
- Two UNCG Gerontology Program students, Rachael Wonderlin and Diane Haytr, were finalists of "Two Minutes to Win It", a competition to present entrepreneurial ideas to the NC Entrepreneurship Center at UNCG!
