We are pleased that you have selected UNCG for your graduate studies and look forward to having you on our campus this fall. As a new graduate student, you are invited to attend one of our orientation programs. At both sessions a variety of speakers will provide information about campus resources, computing services, and other topics. Following the Thursday session, students will have an optional opportunity to take a guided tour of the campus. At both sessions, time is allotted for students to ask questions, and everyone will receive valuable handouts.
Both orientation sessions will be held in the Elliott University Center Auditorium, which is centrally located on the UNCG campus. Signs will be in place to help you. We encourage you to arrive early to avoid the last-minute rush of attendees and to have time to enjoy the refreshments we will provide. Registration will begin one hour prior to each of the orientation sessions, and this is a great time to meet other incoming graduate students.
