Research Interests
I am interested in social and emotional development in infancy and early childhood. I currently have four ongoing collaborative
research projects that involve following young children and their families to better understand early development.

(Click on the icons above for more information on these projects.)

I am an investigator on a collaborative study through the Center for Developmental Science at Chapel Hill. This project, the
Durham Child Health and Development Study , is funded by the National Science Foundation and is aimed at understanding child
social, emotional, and cognitive development from infancy through age three.

I serve as a Mentor Faculty at The Center for Developmental Science at Chapel Hill
and am an Associate Editor for the journal Developmental Psychology.
