Research Interests: I am interested in the development of self-regulation across infancy and early childhood. As a graduate student, I will explore the ways in which cognitive, emotional, and psychophysiological processes interact to support the effortful regulation of behavior, and their implications for early behavior and adjustment problems.

Bio: I am currently a fifth grade teacher in Davidson County. I graduated from UNCW in 2006 with a degree in elementary education. I graduated from Elon University in 2011 with a master's degree in elementary education. I am a National Board certified teacher. I am also certified as an AIG specialist and a reading specialist. After completing this program I would like to teach education classes at my local community college.
