HES Foundation

The Human Environmental Sciences Foundation was established in 1946 under the
leadership of Dean Margaret Edwards and the guidance of Business Manager, John
Lockhart. Established to "aid and support all types of teaching and research,"
the foundation has built a strong endowment which continues to provide funding
for scholarships, fellowships, professorships, and program enhancements.
The HES Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors which meets
quarterly. Made up of alumni and friends from the different fields representative
of our five departments, the board supports the foundation with its time and
resources and provides guidance in the stewardship of donations.
