Paige Hall Smith, PhD, MSPH is the current and first full-time Director of the Center. Paige is Associate Professor of Public Health Education and the 2004-2006 Linda Arnold Carlisle Professor of Women´s and Gender Studies at UNCG.
She has been at UNCG and active with the Women´s and Gender Studies Program since 1995. She has a particular interest in making new connections and collaborative teams among women´s health researchers at UNCG. Her own line of research focuses on improving health care response to women, reducing violence against women, and breastfeeding promotion.
