Research Resources

Office of Contract and Grants (OCG)
Approves all proposal budgets prior to submission, coordinates grant and contract fund set up in the accounting system, make budget changes, and financial reporting to sponsors.

Office of Research Compliance (ORC)
The coordinates compliance measures on campus and acts as a resource for the university community's concerns regarding compliance requirements. Compliance Requirements: Institutional Biosafety, Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use, Conflict of Interest, Research Misconduct, Drug Free Workplace.

Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP)
Operates in a dynamic environment and serves as the coordination point for all university grant proposals. The OSP staff members help to identify funding sources, facilitate the administrative review and approval process, and review and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Office of Technology Transfer
As part of its educational, research, and service mission, UNCG is dedicated to the transfer of its research and technology to the public sector for the general economic benefit of Greensboro, the Piedmont Triad and North Carolina.

Research Administration Management System & eSubmission (RAMSes)
RAMSeS at UNCG offers proposal development on-line, electronic routing of internal processing forms for signature, a web based portal allowing campus users access to research data, and the ability to generate reports.
