Eligibility
  • Rising junior or senior majoring in speech pathology and audiology.
  • Academic merit, character, leadership and financial need.

Usual size of award: $800-$1,000

History

The University Speech and Hearing Scholarship was established in 1972 by the University Speech and Hearing Association with a letter to Mr. George Hamer, Director of the Development Office and signed by Debra Funderburk, Secretary for the University Speech and Hearing Association. This annual scholarship was to support a rising junior or senior student majoring in speech pathology and audiology.
