The Chauns Dance Scholarship

Eligibility
  • Entering full-time students majoring in dance
  • Financial need (file a FAFSA)
  • Renewable for up to three years

History

The Chauns Dance Scholarship was established in 2008 with a bequest from Elizabeth Ellis Chauns in memory of her husband, George Chauns, and his love of dance. The purpose of the fund is to help dance students in financial need.

 

Application

The following materials must be included with your application:

  • written statement of your professional goals
  • resume* (suggested headings include: professional experience; participation in departmental,
    school, or university activities and organizations; community; honors and awards)
  • Completed FAFSA must be filed with the Office of Financial Aid
