The Deans Student Advisory Council Scholarship

History

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council Scholarship was established by donations from the students of the School of HHP. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and support a fellow HHP student who has overcome challenging circumstances in order to attend UNCG. The award is $500.

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council, or a subcommittee of the DSAC, working under the supervision of the Dean, choose the recipient.

Application
  • UNCG Genie Transcript.
  • letters of recommendations: one from a person of your choosing who can attest to the challenging circumstance; and one from a UNCG faculty member who can attest to your academic good standing. Ask your sponsors to place the letters in an envelope, seal it, and sign his/her name across the flap.
