The Karen Lux Scholarship

Eligibility
  • Rising sophomore, junior or senior in the School of Health and Human Performance.
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated interest in teaching and/or youth development programs in schools or the community.

Usual size of award: $1,000.

History

The Karen Lux Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 with a gift from Nicole and Rusty Bergen for the purpose of providing scholarship support for an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the School of Health and Human Performance. Their intention in making this gift is to honor Karen Lux, MS Exercise and Sport Science 2001, for her outstanding work as a teacher, role model and mentor to her students.
