The Kimberly Renee Goodman Scholarship

Eligibility
  • Student majoring in dance.
  • Financial need (FAFSA is required).
  • Integrity and high moral character.
  • Preference to students from North Carolina, and Iredell County, in particular.

History

The Kimberly Renee Goodman Scholarship Fund was established in April 1985, in memory of Kimberly Renee Goodman by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert A. Goodman, Jr., family and friends.

Kimberly Renee Goodman

Kim graduated from South Iredell High School in 1981 and had served as an assistant teacher at the Academy of Dance arts in Mooresville. A talented dance performer, she has been accepted as a member of the junior class at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for the fall term, 1983. The fund was created in recognition of the love and respect her parents shared for Kim, and in appreciation for the positive example she set for the friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to have been influenced by her.
