Michael Campbell, M.S., M. B.A., CCC-SLP
Director, Speech and Hearing Program
As director, Michael brings both clinical expertise and extensive experience in rehabilitation administration to the program. Michael specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of geriatric voice disorders, including LSVT, and laryngectomy rehabilitation. His additional interests include stroke, head injury and swallowing rehabilitation. Michael received his Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas and a MBA from Meinders School of Business.

S. Crutchley, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
After receiving her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from UNCG, Crutchley practiced in a variety of settings, including school, hospital, long-term care and home health. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders, aphasia, auditory processing disorders,bilingual speech/language impairments and accent reduction.

Laura Tallant, AuD
Audiologist
With a Master’s from UNCG and a Doctorate in audiology from Salus University, Dr. Tallant brings over 11 years of experience to our program. She has practiced in a wide rage of settings, including private practice, manufacturing, Veterans Affairs, and most recently, an ear, nose & throat practice. In addition to her expertise in hearing aids and adult cochlear implants, she will be cultivating a balance assessment clinic at Gateway University Research Park.
