Welcome to the Speech and Hearing Program at Gateway University Research Park. Located just outside Greensboro in beautiful Browns Summit, NC, we offer an array of services to suit any particular communication need.
We are a clinical service facility for the community, as well as a teaching and research program affiliated with The School of Human Health and Performance at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Our North Carolina licensed and nationally certified clinicians offer individualized attention and support for adults and families in need of speech, language, and hearing services.
The Speech and Hearing Clinic is dedicated to providing quality services in audiology, speech-language pathology and rehabilitative counseling to adult citizens of the Piedmont and surrounding areas.

Public Service Center:
To provide important community outreach services in the areas of prevention, wellness and rehabilitation to the Triad’s aging population
Secondary components:
- Generate an aging population to study
- Create training opportunities for students
- Generate a revenue to support the program

Lifetime Learning Series
"Lifetime of Learning” is based upon the philosophy that “you never stop learning.” Adults are given the opportunity to share their wealth of experience with other knowledge-seekers and explore new dimensions of themselves. This approach utilizes the joy of college without the fear of exams!
