Thinking about attending Summer School at UNCG?
Summer Session 1: Thursday, May 18, 2017 - Wednesday, June 21, 2017
Summer Session 2: Thursday, June 22, 2017 - Friday, July 28, 2017
There is no separate application for financial aid for the 2017 summer semester
and additional aid is not guaranteed.
To qualify for Financial Aid, you:
*Students who are currently on academic probation are limited to no more than 4 hours in
a single session and no more than 8 hours total for the full summer semester.
- Must be fully admitted to or currently enrolled in an eligible degree-seeking
or certificate program at UNCG. (Visiting, Visions, and Express
students are NOT eligible to receive aid).
- Must have an active, complete 2016-2017 FAFSA on-file with UNCG.
- Must register for summer 2017 courses at UNCG.
- Must enroll at least half-time (6+ credit hours for undergraduate
students) in non-repeat coursework.
- Must adhere to University enrollment limits: No more than 7 hours in a
single summer session & no more than 14 hours total for the full

Prior to beginning school in the Summer and/or Fall, we highly recommend that you review your Plan of Study and Degree Works to ensure that you are enrolled in classes that are needed to complete your degree.
