University Marshals Select HES Faculty

The University Marshals have selected faculty to induct as honorary members and have nominated Dr. Melissa Floyd Taylor (top) from the Social Work Department and Dr. Esther Leerkes (bottom) from the Human Development and Family Studies Department for inclusion. This honor is in recognition of their commitment to academic excellence and service to students at UNCG.

The faculty members who have been selected have each made an impact in a student's academic success at UNCG. Taylor and Leerkes will be honored for their contributions at the University Marshals Induction on April 13, 2008 at 4 pm. They will receive honorary University Marshal status and receive a ribboned lapel medallion to wear with their academic regalia. Taylor has been on faculty since 2002 and Leerkes since 2003.
