William N. Dudley has a doctorate in Experimental Psychology and has been a funded researcher for over twenty years. As Associate Dean for Research, he provides administrative oversight for the HHS Office of Research.

Verna Leslie

Verna Leslie, Pre-Award Research Administrator

Verna Leslie is a Pre-Award Research Administrator and helps researchers prepare proposals for external funding through assistance with budget development, internal routing, and assembling applications for the following departments: Communication Sciences and Disorders, Community and Therapeutic Recreation, Genetic Counseling Program, Gerontology, Kinesiology, and Public Health Education.

Diane Levine, Post-Award Research Administrator

Diane Levine is the Post-Award Research Administrator within the School of HHS Office of Research.  Ms. Levine's role is to provide advice and critical guidance regarding fiscal management policies and procedures.

Dr. Kelly Rulison, Quantitative Methodologist

Academic Vita

Dr. Kelly Rulison is a quantitative methodologist within the HHS Office of Research.  In this role, Kelly consults with faculty and students across HHS as they develop grant proposals, design pilot studies, and analyze existing data. Kelly is also an assistant professor in Public Health Education, where her research interests include adolescent social networks, health risk behaviors (e.g., substance use, delinquency), diffusion of intervention effects, prevention science, and longitudinal research design and methodology.

Dr. Jeff Labban, Assistant Professor

Jeff Labban has a doctorate in Kinesiology, with a doctoral minor in Educational Research Methodology. Jeff’s primary role in the Office of Research is to provide statistical support for both new and ongoing research projects generated by faculty and students within HHS. His research interests include the relationship between exercise and cognitive function, specifically long-termmemory.

Gloria Johnson, Receptionist

Gloria Johnson is the HHS Office of Research receptionist.  Ms. Johnson's role is to greet visitors, route phone calls and respond to inquiries.  She also takes reservations for the designated HHS parking spaces and conference rooms in the Stone building.
