Our mission is to assist current and prospective undergraduate students within the School of Health and Human Sciences in making informed decisions as they identify and pursue educational goals to enhance their personal and professional growth and development.

We support and empower students through the development and dissemination of knowledge, relationship development, and community engagement.

In addition to assisting students with selection of appropriate coursework, we offer courses that help students learn about themselves: their values, passions, strengths and challenges. Students work with us and others creating meaningful experiences that matter.

  • HHS 125: Design your life I: What could I do with my life (1 credit)
  • HHS 135: Design your life II: Creating meaningful experiences through coaching (1 credit)

An important element of our office is the 'Design your Life' program. This program incorporates a more holistic view of life that engages students in a process where they feel empowered, passionate, energetic and committed toward a life they desire--a life that represents who they are and where they want to go. In turn, they fully invest their best selves--their hearts, minds, bodies and spirits--in creating meaningful work and a life of significance. For more information about this exciting program, please visit 'Design your Life'.
