The purpose of the HIS511 seminar is to use primary sources in the exploration of a research topic. We will investigate some significant questions in the post World War II hsitory of Latin America with particular reference to Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. The course requires a research paper of 20 to 25 pages. Permission of the department is required. |
