Department of HistoryHistory Major Advising CenterADVISING FOR NEW TRANSFER AND READMITTED STUDENTS WHO ARE HISTORY MAJORS You will be able to register for Spring 2010 courses starting November 30. You should come in to our Advising Center, 2120 MHRA, for advising on a drop-in basis (no appointments necessary) at the following times: Monday 23 November, 2-4 pm; Between December 9 and January 8, you should make an advising appointment at CASA (334-4361). To ensure a successful advising session, come prepared with copies of your transcripts, current detailed CAPP degree audit (if possible), and a transfer articulation worksheet. We cannot advise you if we have no record of what courses you have already taken. We look forward to being able to help you with Spring 2010 registration. For continuing History majors: Preparation for registration and advising for course schedules for Spring 2010 will be handled as usual by our Advising Center in the History Department. The Advising Center is located in MHRA 2120 during the Advising and Registration days for Spring 2010. Advising Codes will only be available by visiting the Advising Center! The Center will be staffed by History faculty and will operate on a drop-in basis. Bring your plan of classes for Spring 2010. Come early in the Advising and Registration period! This will ensure that you get the classes you need and want. Registration for continuing students will take place from November 3-22, 2009. The Advising Center will open before registration begins. Watch your UNCG email accounts for information about the History Advising Center and for messages from the Registrar about when your registration window opens.
