Welcome to the Department of History's Undergraduate Studies page. We in the department hope that this will be a useful and informative guide for you. If you have any questions about the History major please feel free to contact me.

We are pleased you have chosen to major in History. On our web site we post detailed descriptions of the courses available for each semester. These descriptions are prepared by the professors so they will give you a good idea about content and method for each course.

Please review the Undergraduate Bulletin of requirements for a History major and course descriptions on the web before any future advising appointments.

For advising, we have an Advising Center open and staffed for a number of hours during the advising periods in fall and spring. The hours will be posted several days in advance of the advising period in the building and on the department web site.

I am available in 2107 during my posted office hours to assist with questions about Social Studies Licensure, transfer credits, study abroad, and any other advice about your success as a history major.
