The History Department Advising Center will be open Monday, March 21-Thursday, April 7. See the schedule below. It is located in MHRA (Moore Humanities building), room 2120, opposite the History Department offices.
All history majors are required to attend the Advising Center in person. We do not give advising codes via phone or email, or without face to face advising.
No appointment is necessary. The Advising Center operates on a first come/first served basis. Plan to come early in the advising period so you can get the classes you need and want.
Social Studies Licensure majors: Be sure to schedule a meeting with Ciara Marable (email@example.com) in addition to your history advising session.
New students should first contact the College of Arts and Sciences Advising (CASA) Center for advising and SOAR orientation.
UNCG is transitioning from the Degree Evaluation online audit system to Degree Works. History majors who entered the program in fall 2014 or later (or who returned after an absence) use Degree Works. Students who have been in continuous residence since spring 2014 or earlier use Degree Evaluation. Make sure you use the correct one or the information may be outdated!
*Starred hours are times when students can find out more about Social Studies Licensure and/or Disciplinary Honors in History.
