Using state-of-the-art computer software, two IAR grad students and the department’s Digital Director digitally documented the interior and exterior of the slave quarters at the Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC, prior to its restoration. The initial fieldwork was conducted in May of 2007. Working from the photographs taken and dimensions recorded on site, the team generated rectified, scaled images of selected interior and exterior elevations using Elcovision, a photogrammetry software.
