Honors Coffee
Come join us for Honors Coffee every Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Faculty Center! Everyone at UNCG is welcome and encouraged to participate. Come find out what students and faculty in other departments are thinking about important issues on campus and in the wider world. We provide light refreshments; you provide the ideas. For the current semester's schedule of discussion leaders and topics, check out the Events Calendar to the left.
Our loftier goal is to promote civic intellectual discussion in general --- the kind in which everyone feels free to speak and in which individuals can disagree energetically but in a spirit of cordiality and friendship. To that end, we have a couple of rules:

The discussion leader opens with a ten-minute presentation, concluding with questions designed to stimulate discussion. The conversation then opens to all participants.

We are turn-takers; speaking only after raising our hand and receiving a nod of acknowledgement from the discussion leader.
- We invariably leave brimming with new ideas. Join us!
