Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activities

Research, scholarship, and creative activities are at the core of what a modern university education is all about. Honors students are strongly encouraged during their time at UNCG to engage in research, scholarship, and creative activities in whatever area of study they are focused. Research, scholarship, and creative activities are not limited to work in the laboratory but can be performed throughout the university whether it be in the natural sciences, the social sciences, the humanities, the fine arts, or the one of UNCGs many professional schools.

Honors students have a number of opportunities for engaging in research and creative activities both in and out of the classroom. Please consult the links to the left for additional information about research opportunities and possible sources of financial support.
