Felicia Dean wins 2015 Outstanding Thesis Award
Congratulations to Felicia Dean on receiving the 2015 Outstanding Thesis/ Production Award from UNC Greensboro's Graduate School. This is a prestigious award offered to only one thesis produced in the 2013-14 year across the UNCG campus, and a first-time win for the Department of Interior Architecture! The goal of the award is to acknowledge notable accomplishments and performance of master's degree students by way of their thesis or master's production. The theses were judged on a rubric defining four categories including clarity of presentation, originality and creativity of the scholarship and potential for external recognition, quality, size, and scope of the work as well as the relationship to professional caliber of work in the field. The Graduate School presented the award at the UNC Greensboro Honors Convocation on April 28.
Three graduate students awarded summer 2015 assistantships
Every year the Graduate School offers a Summer Assistantship program. The program goal is to assist student in making progress toward completing their degree by using part of the summer to conduct research or to engage in other scholarly activities related to the student's program of study. The Interior Architecture Department is thrilled to announce three graduate student recipients for the 2015 summer term. Congratulations to Catherine French, Audrey Waggoner, and Mardita Murphy!
