Software Recommendations at IARC

The Digital Design Studio is owned and managed by the Department of Interior Architecture (IARC) and avaialble only to the IARC students.

Location
The Digital Design Studio is located in Room 313 Gatewood Studio Arts Building at UNCG.

Hours
The facility is open to the Interior Architecture students 24/7 and can be accessed using the UNCG First Card.

Policies
Along with the policies outlined in the IRC Computer Lab Policies, we require that you adhere to these policies while using the digital lab:
• No cell phone use allowed
• No food or drink
• The last person to leave the lab should switch off the pay-for-print machine

Available Software
Adobe Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Premiere, InDesign, Dreamweaver 8, Flash 8, Premier, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel, Form.Z, AutoCad 2007, SketchUp, Cinema4D, and Artlantis Renderer.

Mac: 21 Mac Pros with 19" Samsung LCD display monitors
PC:2 Dell Pentium Processor PCs with 17" LCD Flat Panel Monitors

IARC holds classes occassionally in HHRA 1305 PC lab to use Windows-based software programs.

Form.Z Joint Study License Form
To obtain a Form.Z Joint Study license, fill out the above license form, get it signed by Tina Sarawgi, IARC's Form.Z Joint Study Principal Investigator, and fax it to Auto.des.sys.

IARC students can also obtain free downloads of a few Autodesk software programs such as Autodesk VIZ and Revit from http://students.autodesk.com
