There are an average of 210 undergraduate majors and 18 graduate students in the interior design program. A number of scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding students who have either significant financial need or who have demonstrated academic merit. These scholarships are typically awarded through the School of Human Environmental Sciences and the Department of Interior Architecture. Careers: 75% of our new graduates are employed as entry level designers. Typical career choices: non-residential interior design, interior architecture, residential interior design, lighting design, showroom design, digital design, furniture design. Financial Aid Opportunities A number of scholarships are awarded each year to I.Arc students who have achieved academc excellence or who have demonstrated financial need. Application for these departmental scholarships is made through the School of Human Environmental Sciences Dean's Office. Other UNCG scholarship opportunities are available through the UNCG Office of Financial Aid. Limited part-time employment opportunities are available within the department for management and maintenance of departmental resources, such as the Digital Studio, Prototype Development Shop, Resource Center, and Departmental Office.
