Courses whose content is at least 50% “Latin American/Caribbean” and that run at least once in a 3-year cycle:

  • Language
    • Spanish 101, 102, 203, 204
    • French 101, 102, 203, 204
    • Portuguese 101, 102, 203, 204
  • Other Disciplines (courses taught every 1-3 years)
    • GEO 491: Current Topics in Human Geography (when Latin American/Caribbean)

Existing generalist courses that may count toward the Latin American/Caribbean Studies Major (and second major) when Latin American/Caribbean-related content is 50% or greater:

  • DCE 200: Dance Appreciation
  • DCE 205: Dance History I: World Dance Traditions
  • DCE 231: Global Dance Forms
  • ECO 300: The International Economy
