On November 8, Chancellor Linda Brady invited a group of 50 international students and scholars to her home for a holiday reception. Last year, Chancellor Brady hosted a different group of international students and scholars and she hopes to make these gatherings an annual event. Read more about the Chancellor's Reception here.

>> Faculty Report: Fall of the Berlin Wall Symposium at UNCG

On November 6, 2009, UNCG commemorated the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Department of Georgraphy and the Department of German, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese Studies hosted an interdisciplinary symposium featuring a number of invited speakers from across campus, including IPC's own Dr. Penelope Pynes.
