| This month's featured articles: | >> UNCG Selected for Iraq Education Initiative Program On November 18, 2009, the International Programs Center (IPC) received confirmation that UNCG had been selected as one of the first 25 institutions in the United States to be a part of the pilot program of the Iraq Education Initiative. UNCG is excited to have been selected as one of the universities for this scholarship program, which was initiated to assist the students of Iraq to come to the United States to continue their studies, which are limited in their home country. The scholarships fully fund the students’ education. Read more about the initiative in Special Programs. |
| Also in this month's issue: | >> International Students Awarded for Academic Achievements Every semester, the International Programs Center likes to recognize those international students who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the previous semester. An award ceremony and reception was held for these students on February 11. More information on the awards and the recipients can be found here. |
