UNCG is launching a faculty-led Internationalization Task Force, which will assess current internationalization efforts and develop strategies for implementation for the next 18 months. To assist the effort, UNCG has joined the American Council on Education (ACE) Internationalization Collaborative. Dr. Penelope Pynes and Denise Bellamy attend EAIE Conference During the 22nd Annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference from September 15-18 in Nantes, France, Penelope and Denise promoted UNCG's Study Abroad and Exchange Programs. They also met with several of our partners and made some site visits in France. See Faculty & Staff. Tom Martinek, Jr. shares "Food for Thought" with Lloyd International Honors College Tom provided the first Food for Thought of the new school year with "Coming to America: The International Student's Perspective" on September 1. International Summer Research in the UK with NSF Grant UNCG has been awarded three years of National Science Foundation (NSF) funding to create a new International Research Experience. Six students, led by Dr. Terence Nile of the Department of Chemistry, will carry out summer research at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. See Faculty Corner. | ||
