Visiting Scholars We congratulate and thank our faculty sponsors who have helped to bring these scholars to the university. Scholar sponsors are individual faculty members at UNCG who collaborate with the scholars on research and teaching. Sponsors work with their departments, their Dean and the Provost's office to invite scholars to their respective departments to work with them for several months to several years, depending on the scope of the research and/or teaching project. Their dedication to internationalization helps the International Programs Center bring in new scholars every semester. This summer, the International Programs Center welcomed the following visiting scholars to UNCG: Huang Zhu (China), Department of History, Charles Bolton sponsor We would also like to extend a warm welcome to these visiting scholars who have arrived or who will be arriving this fall: Shaleen Shukla (India), Department of Physics, Promod Pratap sponsor
