On-campus housing: When this is available, INTERLINK can make a reservation for a student or get the student on a waiting list if no housing is immediately available. When the student arrives, s/he must pay the fees for housing and meals directly to the UNCG Housing and Residence Life office before receiving keys and moving in. (Fees are listed in the INTERLINK application form.) UNCG states that the rooms all include bed, desk, chair, closet or armoire, and chest of drawers. Each room has a telephone jack. Most rooms are air-conditioned and have computer access. Prices are the same as those charged to regular UNCG students, prorated if necessary for INTERLINK terms. INTERLINK helps students with moving in and problems that arise with facilities or roommates, but UNCG has ultimate responsibility. Information about the housing contract can be found at http://www.uncg.edu/rli/dorms/housing-contract.html Students pay for each nine-week term they stay. After the first term, payment is due to UNCG before the next term begins. If payment is not made, you can lose your room or will have to pay a $100 penalty fee.

Cost: May term, $1325 (private bedroom, shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, and includes most meals (declining balance); August, October terms: $1325 (shared room in std. dorm, with all meals, cafeteria only, when cafeteria is open)
