Required Tests
Many departments require applicants to submit official test scores for the GRE, GMAT, or MAT. See departmental requirements for specific details.

The application fee is U.S. $45.
English Proficiency
Applicants whose native language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency by one of the following means:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – www.toefl.org
Internet-based score of 79, paper-based score of 550, or computer-based
score of 213
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – www.ielts.org
6.5 overall band score
Conditional Admission
Applicants who have not proven English proficiency may apply for conditional admission to UNCG. All application requirements must be submitted, except for the TOEFL or IELTS test and the GRE, GMAT, or MAT test.
Conditional applicants must also complete the INTERLINK application form, located HERE. The INTERLINK application fee is U.S. $100.
Financial Information
International students on, or intending to be on, a temporary non-immigrant F-1 visa are required to certify that they have adequate financial resources to cover the cost of tuition and fees, accommodation and meals, insurance, and other living expenses. UNCG cannot issue the I-20 Form until we receive the completed financial forms and supporting bank/sponsor documents. The forms may be downloaded here:
