For the purpose of admission, UNC Greensboro defines “international
applicant” as a foreign national who holds, or who intends to hold, a
temporary, non-immigrant visa/status in the USA, such as an F-1.
Please note: Applicants who are US citizens, US permanent
residents, pending permanent residents, political asylees or
refugees are considered “domestic” applicants and should
apply at: http://web.uncg.edu/adm/applications/.

- Bank Statement: Current original bank statement(s) documenting your ability to support your study at UNCG. You must show evidence of at least $28,222.00 for the academic year (Fall 2008-Spring 2009) either in personal funds, or funds from other sources.

- Financial Support: While the University of North Carolina Greensboro is interested in and committed
to services for undergraduate international students, we are unable to offer
any financial assistance to non-immigrant undergraduate students. If you
and your family can independently fund your educational expenses, and if
the academic program you are interested in is offered at UNCG, we welcome
your application. However, there are limited scholarships available for students
with exceptional skills in Athletics and Music.
