International Undergraduate Application Procedures

To apply for admission to UNCG, you will need to follow certain procedures and submit documents according to your status – freshman, transfer, second degree, or conditional applicant.  All applicants must submit the following:

International Undergraduate Application – answer each question as thoroughly as you can, and sign the application.  Incomplete applications cannot be processed, and will delay review of your application.

$45 application fee – you may pay by Visa or Mastercard credit card (information is on application), or by check or money order, payable to “UNCG”.  The check or money order must be payable to a U.S. bank.

Official transcripts – submit official transcripts (original or certified copies from the school itself, Ministry of Education, or Embassy) from all schools attended, from grade 9 on up (secondary school/high school).  If you have attended any college or university, you must also submit those transcripts, regardless of length of study, dates you attended the institution, or grades earned.

English proficiency – all applicants whose native language is other than English must provide proof of English proficiency by one of the following means: TOEFL, IELTS, or SAT.

Financial Forms – upon admission to UNCG, students who plan to be on an F-1 student visa must provide proof of financial support in order for the I-20 form to be issued.
