For more information about contacting global studies agencies, foundations, and grant sponsors, see Ms. Charna Howson from UNCG's Office of Research Services (ORS) in 110 McIver Building.

Several of the links are quoted from Charna Howson's "Funding Searches" page http://www.uncg.edu/rss/search.html, which provides access to some of the best, nationally recognized search engines. For international programs consult the "Grant Advisor" and "SPIN". The "Community of Science" search engine, however, is quickly becoming a most important tool in locating out-of-country sponsors. Unfortunately, there is a catch: Many of these data bases may only be accessed from on-campus computers because of vendor and license agreements.
