Alumni, Students and Professors Receive Counseling Honors
GREENSBORO — More than a dozen alumni, students and faculty members of the Department of Counseling and Educational Development at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro won awards at the recent American Counseling Association conference in Anaheim, Calif.
Alumni
· Dr. Jane Rosen-Grandon – Don Dinkmeyer Social Interest Award.
· Dr. Sylvia Nassar-McMillan – ACA “Best Practices” Research
Award.
Students
· Carrie Wachter – Chi Sigma Iota Outstanding Entry Level Student.
Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society for counselors.
· Bryce Hagedorn – CSI Outstanding Doctoral Level Student.
· Suzanne Degges-White – Association for Adult Development and
Aging Research Article Award.
· Randy Watts – Association for Assessment in Counseling Donald
Hood Student Research Grant.
· Keith Mobley – Association for Counselor Education and Supervision
Research Grant.

· Dr. Gerald A. Juhnke – Ralph F. Berdie Memorial Research Award.
